If an accident occurs, call for medical assistance if needed and notify your supervisor immediately.
An agency employee who has the most direct knowledge of the accident or injury must notify a manager who can log onto the CAPPS Manager’s Center to complete an accident report for the volunteer. Your supervisor will register the report with the Risk Manager. A hard copy of the accident report will be placed in the volunteer’s personnel file, and a copy sent to the local volunteer coordinator.
