Attendance

Supervisors, co-workers, and clients value a volunteer's work and depend upon the volunteer to be at work at the scheduled times.

If you are unable to follow the scheduled work hours, not only will it affect your contribution but may have an negative effect on clients, staff, and other volunteers.

If you expect to be absent or if there’s any change in your schedule, let your supervisor know as soon as possible so that alternative plans may be made. If you are absent regularly, you will be removed from your volunteer duties.
