Child Care Desert Data
TWC has updated the child care desert list for Texas. A child care desert is an area where the number of children younger than six years of age who have working parents is at least three times greater than the capacity of licensed child care providers in that area. This list allows you to search to determine whether a ZIP code is in a child care desert.

This website has child care regulation (licensing) information for providers. It also has helpful information about child care for parents.
Child Safety Data for Licensed Day Care Centers
This is DFPS data, but it is required per Senate Bill 708 to be posted on the Texas Health and Human Services website in these formats:
