Services to At-Risk Youth (STAR)
Services to At-Risk Youth (STAR) |
|||||||||||||
The Services to At-Risk Youth (STAR) program was developed to assist local communities in serving youth who often fall between the cracks of the service delivery system. Their problems are not severe enough to receive services from traditional systems such as Child Protective Services or Juvenile Probation. Therefore, the STAR program has established 32 contracts around the state with local agencies who make crisis counseling, emergency short-term residential care, and all skill training available to at-risk youths and their families. |
