Adopted children who have been abused or neglected often need help coping with the effects of abuse and the loss of their birth family. All families of children adopted through DFPS can get post adoption services, though not all services are available in every county.

We encourage you to promote post adoption services with your networks. Our goal is to reach as many families as possible to connect them with knowledge and resources. 

This toolkit includes messages and links that can be used as is or customized in any way that works best for your community.
