We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers, who contribute thousands of hours each year to benefit kids, families, older Texans, and those with disabilities. It only takes a small amount of time to do a lot of good.

Lead successful community awareness events and present to groups about DFPS goals and needs.
Organize, stock, and shop for items for children and families. Organize holiday wish lists, and wrap Christmas presents for children in our care.
Help a foster child get adopted by designing and assembling a Life Book, or sewing quilts and blankets for children in foster care.
Volunteer as a group to complete a special project or host an event for youth, families, and older adults.
Welcome visitors, organize meetings, and help locate services for families in need.
Volunteer to take calls for the helpline, or help with community outreach.
