Use of Emergency Detention for APS Clients
The item below is revised to clarify that if APS cannot locate an entity willing to file an emergency detention order, the APS specialist may file a written application for emergency detention of another person. A new subsection will also be added to address applicable statute from the Health and Safety Code. See:
