Licensing Policy and Procedure Handbook Revision December 2009
This revision of the Licensing Policy and Procedures Handbook (LPPH) was originally published on November 3, 2008. The revision was posted without being edited by the Center for Policy and Innovation (CPI) because of time constraints affecting the Licensing program. This republication contains the November 3, 2008 revision with the recommendations of CPI staff.
All items in sections 2000, 6000, 7000, and 8000 are affected.
Time Frame for Reissuance of Permit
Policy in the following sections of the handbook have been updated to include the change in the time that Licensing must wait before issuing a permit to a child day care provider from 2 to 5 years, if that provider has their permit revoked or denied on or after September 1, 2009, per S.B. 68. See:
