CCI Intake Reports Not Screened (PATS 13352)
Certain intake reports received by SWI and routed to CCI for investigation do not require screening by the SWI RCCI Screening Unit. This policy update specifies notifications CCI makes when both of the following are true:
- CCI processes and assigns an intake report in IMPACT.
- The intake report involves children in DFPS conservatorship.

Notifying Residential Contracts at End of CCI Investigation (PATS 13353)
This handbook revision updates policy about notifications and staffings involving residential child care operations that contract with DFPS and accept the placement of children in DFPS conservatorship. Primarily, it adds a requirement to notify Residential Contracts at the conclusion of investigations and corrects language to reflect these obligations to Residential Contracts.
