Handbook Revision, December 1, 2016
This revision of the Statewide Intake Policy and Procedures Handbook was published on December 1, 2016. Summaries of new or revised items are provided below.
Confidentiality of Reporter Information (PATS 9167)
This revision clarifies that a reporter’s identity is confidential for all reports (both intakes and I&Rs). Historically, it has been believed that the identity of a reporter was only confidential when an intake was processed. After discussion with Legal, it has been determined that the reporter’s confidentiality extends to all reports made to Statewide Intake (both intakes and I&Rs). See:
