Disaster Relief Codes (PATS 13611)
This handbook revision updates policy to instruct intake staff to choose the most applicable “disaster relief” code when more than one applies to a particular report.

Clear and Professional Writing (PATS 13616)
This handbook revision updates guidance for intake specialists on writing a clear and professional narrative, including:
- Using appropriate capitalization.
- Using approved abbreviations for the relationships of the people involved in the report.
