Handbook Revision, August 1, 2022
This revision of the Statewide Intake Policy and Procedures Handbook was published on August 1, 2022. Summaries of new or revised items are provided below.
Subsequent Contact from Original Reporter (PATS 13708)
An additional paragraph was added to 2711 to explain that if a reporter calls back and indicates that he or she is the original reporter, the information must be verified to match the existing information in IMPACT, even if the reporter has a report ID number.
See:
2711 Subsequent Contact from the Original Reporter
Field Worker Complaint (PATS 13721)
This policy revision clarifies that if an intake specialist is contacted directly by field staff about a report, he or she does not respond directly to the field. The intake specialist messages either floor support or his or her own supervisor who will review the problem and follow up with the field, as appropriate.
