This policy revision adds an explanation and links to other sections of the handbook to clarify that an extra I&R is not needed when completing an intake for APS or Provider Investigations (PI) (Facility or Community) because those programs will notify Health and Human Services (HHS) Complaint and Incident Intake (CII) of any concerns.
