Assessment of School Reports and Processing of Case-Related Special Requests (CRSRs) (PATS 14039)
This handbook revision updates SWI policy for assessment of school reports and processing of Return to Care and APS case-related special requests (CRSRs). Policy revisions clarify the following:
- Definition of a school setting.
- Criteria for alleged perpetrators in school reports.
- Priority assessments in school reports.
- Minor grammatical changes for CRSR processing instructions.

This handbook revision clarifies how to complete 8610 Resource Section when a facility or operation name is unknown or not found in IMPACT. This revision also provides guidance in section 8710 for determining if a caregiver is subject to regulation by Day Care Regulation (DCR).

- Provider Investigations does not investigate Medicaid paid transportation services.
